I’ve called Atlanta home since 2011. That same year—while pregnant with my first child—I started looking into getting our tap water tested for lead. What I discovered was eye-opening: installing a high-quality filter that removed lead (and lasted an entire year) was actually cheaper than testing the water. From that moment on, I was hooked—and I’ve been sharing my love for water filters with neighbors and friends ever since.
I grew up in New York City drinking tap water and have always felt confident doing the same across the U.S. But when traveling in places like Mexico, India, or Africa, I always rely on a filter bottle to stay safe. Clean water shouldn’t be complicated or expensive—and it definitely shouldn’t come wrapped in plastic.
The filters I recommend here? I use them. I trust them. They work. They’re affordable, easy to install, and a smarter alternative to bottled water—which, by the way, can contain microplastics and PFAS (those concerning “forever chemicals” we’re all hearing more about).
I’m not doing this to turn a profit. I’m doing it because I believe people deserve to know they have better options. If you ever have questions, I’m just an email away—happy to help however I can.
